PayMaya announces referral program, a chance to earn up to PHP 5K

To encourage and further educate Filipinos about the benefits of going cashless, PayMaya has just announced a new referral program.

If you can successfully refer PayMaya to a friend, there will be a reward for you until August 31. The reward is PHP 50 in your and your friend's PayMaya account.

Users can refer up to 100 friends.

Just make sure that you will follow the steps below.

The steps to follow:     

1. Make sure your PayMaya account is upgraded (upgrade if not yet upgraded).

2. Once your account is upgraded, open the PayMaya app and tap the Menu button.   

3. Tap Invite Friends, where you will see your unique invite code, which you can share with friends and family for them to use when they sign up for a PayMaya account. 

To make sure that you and your friend will receive the reward, also ask him or her to click the "Upgrade for Free" button in the app. Approvals are usually done in 30 minutes.

For new PayMaya users, they can also unlock an additional reward of PHP 60 by completing the welcome challenges from PayMaya.

After upgrading their account, the new user instantly gets P20, on top of the P50 from the referral. By sending at least P20 to a friend, he gets another P20, and by paying at least P20 using scan-to-pay with PayMaya QR, he can also get P20 more from PayMaya.    

PayMaya also noted that this promo is on top of all the other perks and discounts when users use PayMaya.
