Canon said that it is targeting smartphone users who want to upgrade their photo powers
Coming from M100, EOS M200 retains the same 24.1MP APS-C sensor, but it has an updated Digic 8 processor. The new processor allowed the new camera to attain new important features like Dual Pixel eye-detect autofocus and 4K, 24p video.

It is designed to deliver excellent image quality with accurate colors and detailed RAW images and Dual Pixel AF and eye-detect AF for easier, faster, and more accurate focus. The camera now has updated AF points from 49 to 123.
The 24p 4K video with 1.6 times APS-C crop though. It can still be used by vloggers, but you should extend your hands further than usual. Or maybe use a gorilla pod as an extender.
The rest is the same with M100 from the body, button layout, and pop-up selfie screen.
It will arrive in October in black and white color options.
Canon EOS M200 with EF-M 15-45mm f/4.5-6.3 IS STM lens is priced at USD 549 (around PHP 28.6K).
