A few days back, during the launch event for the Mi MIX Alpha, Xiaomi also introduced its latest skin, the MIUI 11.

MIUI 11 key features
MIUI 11 based on Android (some on Android 10) brings a brand new optimized UI design designed for content viewing, the world's first dynamic font scaling feature (Milan Pro typography), and new nature-inspired sound effects.
It also showcased a breathing notification animation that can be customized and changing the kaleidoscope on the lock screen.
There is this Mi Work feature that supports document thumbnail preview, 1 tap projection to screens, 82 Mbps quick file transfer that works even with OPPO and Vivo, unified printing experience with 25 brands of printers, and a new document viewer.
Xiaomi also highlighted that he MIUI 11 has the Mi Go, a smart travel assistant. It also has extreme power saving mode which allows for a standby time of up to 24 hours with only 5 percent battery life.
MIUI 11 is also the first-ever recipient of two Red Dot design awards in the smartphone software industry.
MIUI 11 closed beta is now available for sign up on WeChat in China. The open beta will be available on September 27 for 17 different Chinese devices.
The stable Chinese ROM version will roll out in mid-October.
