Under the hood, the new Pixel phones are powered by the 7nm Snapdragon 855 octa-core chip with Adreno 640 GPU. Sadly, it is not the newer Snapdragon 855 Plus model.

Both are paired with 6GB RAM and 64GB or 128GB storage. Pixel 4 is paired with a 2,800mAh battery while Pixel 4 XL has 3,700mAh. Both come with 18W fast charging tech and Qi wireless charging support.

There is also an option to activate the Ambient Mode when you use a Qi charge to turn the phone into a smart display.

For the cameras, both are packed with a 12MP f/1.7 primary camera with Dual Pixel autofocus, OIS, EIS + 16MP telephoto camera with OIS and EIS.

There is a third module at the back designed to collect depth info for a more realistic effect.

It has a new Pixel Neural Core and Google's proprietary algorithms, a major feature of Pixel phones to improve its camera hardware performance.

The back cam has up to 4K 30fps videos and 120fps slow-motion mode at 1080p.

For selfies, the devices have an 8MP selfie shooter with a 3D depth sensor for better bokeh and secure face unlock.

Google also said that it has a Soli radar for tracking hand gestures, check notifications, change tracks, and more. It is just disabled in other countries like Japan.

The Active Edge squeeze is back as well.

Both have stereo speakers, 4G LTE (no 5G yet) and a nano-SIM and eSIM dual SIM combo.

The 64GB Pixel 4 starts at USD 800 (around PHP 41K) while 64GB Pixel 4 XL starts at USD 900 (around PHP 46K). There's an extra USD 100 for the storage upgrade to 128GB.

Just note that there are no Pixel phones in the Philippines.
