Smart brings Google Station FREE WiFi to San Juan City!

San Juan city government partners with PLDT's Smart Communications, Inc. to offer FREE, FAST, and open Fibr powered WiFi with Google Station!

Free Google WiFi in key areas of San Juan City!

In line with the City of San Juan's goal to be a smart city, PLDT's wireless subsidiary Smart Communications, Inc. and the City government of San Juan inks an agreement to offer FAST and FREE WiFi Google Station in Key areas of the city. This includes Cardinal Santos Medical Center, Virra Mall, and Greenhills Shopping Center. The next key areas in line to get the service is the Agora Market, San Juan City Medical Center, Pinaglabanan Shrine, and Polytechnic University of the Philippines San Juan campus.

Contract Signing

This effectively increases the growing list of 600 growing Google Station sites that Smart and Google Philippines initially announced in July 2019. These sites include government offices and provincial halls.

In addition to this, San Juan has also signed an agreement with PLDT-backed software IT solutions provider Multisys Technologies for smart city projects like the San Juan city app, mobile government services kiosks and e-wallet services for San Juan city residents.
