The legendary Motorola Razr is back!

The 2019 Motorola Razr retained its predecessor's design and form factor. The major change is that instead of a keypad/screen combination it is now a folding 6.2-inch 2141 x 876 21:9 pOLED Cinemavision screen. The Quick View screen outside is still there with a 2.7-inch OLED panel with a 600 x 800 resolution.

The second screen allows you to use the phone while folded for tasks like calls, taking selfies, toggling settings on and off, and talking to Google Assistant.

Inside, it has a mid-range specs sheet. It has a Snapdragon 710 SoC, 6GB RAM, 128GB storage, and a 2,510mAg battery with 15W TurboPower charging. The battery may seem small but that 15W fast charging can top it up in mere minutes. It runs Android Pie out of the box.

There are two cameras on the Razr. One at the back and one on the notch. The rear camera is a 16MP f/1.7 sensor with EIS, Dual Pixel AF, and Laser AF with dual-LED flash. For selfies, it has a 5MP f/2.0 sensor with no flash.

The Motorola Razr has a steep price point at USD 1,500 which is around PHP 76,091 from straight conversion. This makes it the most affordable folding smartphone now and more expensive than most flagship devices in 2019.

Preorders for the Razr start on December 26, 2019, with an expected shipping date of January 2020. As of now, it is only set to be available via Verizon in the US. No words from Motorola about a global release though.
