The Best Terminal Solution 2019
To recall, UNISOC is formerly known as Spreadtrum. First introduced at the MWC 2019 in Barcelona, Spain, the UNISOC IVY510 is the company's first 5G chipset.
It is based on the MAKALU technology produced using TSMC's 12nm manufacturing process. It is a multi-mode 5G chipset with 2G/3G/4G/5G support.
It also complies with the 3GPP R15 standard, supports the sub-6GHz 5G spectrum with a channel bandwidth of 100MHz.
UNISOC said it is a highly integrated, high performance, and low power 5G platform with support for both standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) network configurations.
It is designed to provide 5G connectivity to smartphones, residential CPEs, MiFi, and 5G IoT devices.
According to UNISOC, the IVY510 can provide users with a premium experience for high data-rate mobile broadband services such as AR/VR, 4K/8K HD video streaming, online games, and so on.
