Huawei announces AppGallery Festival with gifts and rewards to users!

To start the year with a blast, Huawei Mobile Services (HMS) announced the AppGallery Festival with gifts and rewards for its users.

AppGallery Festival starts this January

With the theme "New Year, New Start", the AppGallery Festival will run from January 1 to 31, 2020. This event offers promo from online apps like Agoda, Lazada, SHAREit and VIU, Booky, Cashalo, GCash, OWTO, SSS Mobile, etc.

A chance to win Huawei smartphones and more

The said festival features three primary promotions: "Download Apps & Get HUAWEI Points", "Receive New Year Gifts at the Gift Center" and "Play & Win HUAWEI Smartphones". Huawei users can join this event by accessing AppGallery. They can get a variety of perks like vouchers from selected app partners, Huawei points, and even Huawei smartphones.

When downloading selected apps in the AppGallery, users will be given 50 HUAWEI Points that are equivalent to PHP 50 from each participating app. There’s a total of 16 participating apps so they can redeem up to 800 Huawei points. After that, they can use these points for in-app purchases on HMS products including on the AppGallery, Themes, Mobile Cloud, and more.

Aside from FREE points, app vouchers and gift packs are available for claiming thru the "Gift Center" on the AppGallery. The gift package consists of the following: one-month free VIU Premium subscriptions, two months iFlix VIP subscriptions, seven days CamScanner subscriptions, etc.

Play games and win phones mechanics

Huawei users can have a chance to win Huawei smartphones by playing Guns of Glory, Jellipop Match, Mobile Royale, Rise of Kingdoms and Saint Seiya and purchasing in-game items.

Divided into three phases, this event accepts gamers from Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand.  The first phase will run from January 1 to 7, while the second phase is on January 8 to 14, and Phase 3 is scheduled on January 15 to 31. To win a Huawei smartphone, you should be included among the top 30 spenders across these countries.

This event is divided into three phases and open to gamers in Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand. The top 30 spenders across the four participating countries will win a HUAWEI smartphone. 

To join this event, you can download any of the participating games from AppGallery. Next, play the game and purchase in-game items. In doing so, you should pay via Huawei IAP with Bank Card (credit/debit) payment method. To collect the spending amount efficiently, participants can spend on more than one game.
