POCOPHONE: We will launch our new phone next month

On Twitter, POCOPHONE India General Manager C Manmohan revealed that the company will launch a new phone in February.

The Tweet reads "Don’t trust unofficial leaks, here's an official one" followed by an official image with the "We will launch our new phone next month".

The announcement confirms that the former Xiaomi sub-brand is now working on a new phone as a follow-up to the very well-received POCO F1 in 2018.

Manmohan added that the company will leverage some resources from Xiaomi like after-sales and the company has already established a product, sales, and marketing team of its own.

Most likely, the handset will be an Indian market-focused smartphone first. It is still unknown if it will be available for the international market yet.

There are rumors that it might be a rebadged K30, but let's wait and see until the official launch of the device.
