Samsung Philippines lends washing machine units for Taal eruption victims

Technology firm Samsung Philippines extended its help to those Filipinos affected by Taal eruption through lending 16 units of automatic washing machine and dryer.

In a Facebook post, Samsung Philippines said more than 1,465 kilos of laundry had been washed for Taal victims.

Sometimes, the first step to starting anew, is putting on a fresh set of clothes, Samsung said. 

Lipa City councilor Mikee Morada also expressed gratitude to the company for the washing machine units delivered to Inosluban Marawoy Integrated National Highschool, a temporary shelter for displaced Batangueños.

With the recent Taal Volcano eruption, many of our fellow Filipinos have been displaced from their homes, with no place to even wash their laundry. In times like these, we draw strength and compassion in a sense of community.

In light of the recent Taal Volcano eruption, a number of companies have provided either manpower help or donations to show compassion for the victims.
