Sony Xperia L4 will arrive with a taller screen and triple cameras

Sony introduces another device to its entry-level series, the Xperia L4.

Xperia L3 has an 18:9 screen ratio while the L4 has a 6.2-inch 21:9 HD+ LCD so the latter has a taller aspect. Aside from that, two applications can be launched simultaneously in portrait mode.

As for the cameras, Xperia L4 has a triple camera set-up at the back which is composed of a 13MP wide-angle with phase-detect autofocus, a 5MP ultrawide snapper, and a 2MP depth sensor. There's also an 8MP front camera that is placed on a tiny notch.

Under the hood, it is disappointing, it runs with the same processor as the L3 has, the MediaTek Helio P22 with 3GB of RAM. The built-in memory doubled to 64GB though. Meanwhile, the battery capacity increased to 3,580mAh and the phone is also equipped with a fast-charging feature.

The device also features a3.5mm audio jack for earphones just like the Xperia L3.

Sony is said to be launching this entry-level smartphone this coming Spring in two colors, black and blue. There is still no other information yet about its pricing and availability. We'll keep you posted about its updates.
