A peek inside the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro

Xiaomi took off the back panel first. This revealed two large foam rubbers at the top and bottom of the device which is designed to absorb bumps and fall to avoid damages. The internals is also covered with thermally conductive graphite. The biggest noticeable parts seen were the NFC coils as well as the wireless charging components.

We can also see that the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro has speakers that are symmetrically placed on the top and bottom of the device. The speakers have a magnetic steel design with a 1.22cc large cavity that promises a better stereo audio experience.

Once the motherboard cover was removed, the actual board and Mi 10 Pro's 4,500mAh battery is revealed. The device's motherboard has a double layer design which means that there is a smaller board stacked with the primary board for saving space. We can also see that the battery pack takes most of the internal space.

The motherboard also sports an L-shaped design with copper foils and a graphite shield. You can see the WiFi 6 chip in the upper part of the board while the middle area consists of the power management module and an audio decoder. You can also see the Snapdragon 865 SoC with the X55 5G modem.

Xiaomi also showcases the matrix temperature sensor that allows the Mi 10 Pro to map heat in different parts such as the 5G modem, processor, battery, and more. The AI temperature control module will then control the device's power output and performance to manage the temperature.

With the rear camera cover removed, the quad-camera module is shown. You can see just how big the 108MP camera sensor is compared to the other three. You can also see the LED flash and the laser focusing module.
