China said on Wednesday (March 18) that it was donating 100,000 test kits and other medical supplies to help the Philippines fight the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).

China's COVID-19 aid arrives in Manila!
The good news? In just a few days, the promised COVID-19 aid has arrived in Manila earlier this morning (March 21).

Chinese Ambassador Huang Xinlian turned over the urgently need medical supplies to Secretary Locsin. The supplies include 100,000 fast test kits, 100,000 surgical masks, 10,000 N95 masks, and 10K PPEs.
It was previously reported that the officials are coordinating with the Department of Health to ensure that the medical supplies will be turned over immediately.
As of writing, the entire island of Luzon Philippines is under the enhanced community quarantine to prevent the spread of the deadly disease.
President Rodrigo Duterte has also placed the entire country under the state of calamity because of COVID-19.
