Samsung Galaxy M21 now official with AMOLED screen, 10nm Exynos 9611 chip, 6,000mAh battery, and 48MP triple-cam

On schedule, Samsung unleashed the Galaxy M21 at an event in India. The handset is Samsung's newest bang-for-the-buck offering with strong specifications for the price.

The handset sports a 3D curved polycarbonate body in Midnight Blue and Raven Black colors, 6.4-inch FHD+ Infinity-U Super AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection, 10nm Exynos 9611 SoC with Mali-G72 MP3 GPU, 4GB LPDDR4X RAM, 64GB or 128GB UFS 2.1 storage, expandable memory up to 512GB via microSD card, and the gigantic 6,000mAh battery capacity with USB-C 15W fast charging.

At the back, it goes with a triple-camera setup starring a 48MP f/1.8 primary camera, 8MP f/2.2 123-degree ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 5MP f/2.2 depth camera. In front, it has a 20MP f/2.0 sensor.

The device also has a rear-facing fingerprint reader, Dolby Atmos audio, WiFi 802.11ac (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5, FM Radio, GPS + GLONASS, and dual SIM slots.

It is 8.9 mm thick and weighs 188 grams. It runs with Android 10 OS with One UI 2.0 skin.

Price starts at INR 12,999 (around PHP 9K out of straight conversion) for the 64GB version. There is a 128GB variant but, there's no word about its SRP yet.

The devices will be available from Amazon India from March 23.

There's no word yet if it'll go official in the Philippines.
