Amazfit, the Xiaomi-backed Huami-owned company has a new smart band with a curved OLED display, the Amazfit X.

A futuristic smartwatch!
The wearable comes features a full metal body unibody design with 5 ATM water resistance in Eclipse Black and New Moon Gold colors. In front, you'll see the main highlight of this device, the display. It uses a 2.07-inch curved AMOLED display with a 640 x 206 resolution that is 400 nits bright.

To make the curve possible, the company said that it has used a process that includes heating up the display and motherboard up to 700 degrees Celsius and a 6-step bending process to make its 92-degree curvature.

Amazfit X also comes with a pressure-sensitive button on the side to eliminate hardware buttons for a sleeker look.
In terms of features, it has a 24-hour heart tracking, an infrared sensor for measuring blood oxygen levels, a way to measure stress and sleep, 9 different workout modes, and GPS and GLONASS support.
The device can last up to 7 days on a single charge. For charging, it uses a magnetic strap.
Of course, the wearable is compatible with both Android and iOS users.
The Amazfit X is now available for pre-order via Indiegogo. Early backers will get it for just USD 149 (around PHP 7.5K). That's a sweet deal as the device will cost USD 329 (around PHP 16.6K) once it is officially out in the market by August.
