iQOO launches Neo 3 5G with top-end specs and HiFi audio for less

On schedule, Vivo's sub-brand iQOO announced the Neo 3 5G in China.

It's a handset with flagship-grade internals highlighting a 6.57-inch FHD+ 2400 x 1080 display with 20:9 screen aspect ratio, ultra-smooth 144Hz refresh rate, DCI-P3 color gamut, 96 percent NTSC, and HDR10+.

Under the hood, the phone is powered by the 7nm Snapdragon 865 SoC with Adreno 650 GPU, 6GB/8GB/12GB LPDDR5 RAM, 128GB/256GB UFS 3.1 storage, and a large 4,500mAh battery with USB-C 44W flash charge 2.0 tech. iQOO claimed that it can charge the phone to 50 percent in just 20 minutes and 100 percent in 58 minutes.

For cameras, it has a 48MP f/1.79 Sony IMX582 camera with EIS + 8MP f/2.2 120-degree ultra-wide-angle camera + 2MP f/2.4 macro camera. In the front, it uses a 16MP f/2.0 snapper.

The device also has a large 2.4mm side-mounted fingerprint reader, stereo speakers, AK4377A HiFi chip, Hi-Res audio certification, WiFi 6, 5G NSA/SA, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, GLONASS, and dual nano SIM slots.

It runs with Android 10 with iQOO UI 1.0 skin on the top. The handset measures at 163.71 x 75.55 x 8.93 mm and weighs 198.1 grams.

It comes in Sky Blue and Blue Black colorways.

The device is now available to pre-order in China. It'll go on sale starting April 29.
