Who has the better specs on paper?

OPPO Reno3 Pro has a combination of polycarbonate and glasstic material for its design. At the back, it has a smooth glasstic panel that shimmers differently as light hits it. It also has Gorilla Glass 5 screen protection.

The Samsung Galaxy Note10 Lite has a curved glass back with a closer to the Galaxy A71 look. Unlike the Note 10, it does not have any kind IP rating for water or dust resistance. No mention of Gorilla Glass protection as well.

Display - The OPPO Reno3 Pro has a 6.4-inch Dynamic AMOLED screen with 2400 x 1080 FHD+ resolution and 402 ppi pixel density. It also has Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Oval cutout for the dual selfie cameras on the top left of the screen as well.

Dynamic AMOLED is higher-end than the usual Super AMOLED of Samsung.

Samsung Galaxy Note10 Lite has a slightly taller 6.7-inch Super AMOLED screen with 2400 x 1080 FHD+ resolution at 393 ppi pixel density. It also has a punch hole at the top center for the selfie camera.

The Samsung Galaxy Note10 Lite has a slightly taller screen but overall it is basically a tie.

Specs - For performance, OPPO Reno3 Pro has a 2.2GHz 12nm MediaTek Helio P95 octa-core processor, PowerVR GM 9446, 8GB LPDDR4X, 256GB expandable storage, and a 4,025mAh battery with 30W VOOC Flash Charge 3.0.

Samsung Galaxy Note10 Lite has 2.7GHz Exynos 9810 octa-core processor, Mali-G72 MP18, 8GB, 128GB expandable storage, and a 4,500mAh with 25W fast charging.

The Note10 Lite has a slightly higher clocked CPU and a bigger battery. However, Reno3 Pro has bigger storage and a faster-charging technology as well as LPDDR4X RAM. Reno3's SoC also has its own NPU to handle AI tasks.

Both also come with speedy 4G LTE connectivity and dual-band WiFi. Android 10 is loaded to the OPPO Reno3 Pro while the Note10 Lite starts with Android 9.0 Pie.

Cameras - The OPPO Reno3 Pro has a quad-camera setup with 64MP f/1.8 + 8MP f/2.2 119-degree ultra-wide-angle w/ EIS + 13MP f/2.4 w/ 2x optical zoom + 2MP f/2.4 mono + LED flash. It also has a dual selfie setup with 44MP f/2.4 + 2MP f/2.4 combo.

Samsung Galaxy Note10 Lite has a triple-camera setup with a combo of 12MP f/1.7 w/ OIS + 12MP f/2.2 123-degree ultra-wide-angle camera + 12MP f/2.4 OIS 2x telephoto camera w/ LED flash. It also has a 32MP f/2.2 selfie camera.

In terms of main camera specs, OPPO Reno3 Pro's 64MP quad-camera setup looks a lot more impressive than the Samsung Galaxy Note10 Lite's 12MP triple-camera setup.

For selfies, we will give it to the OPPO Reno3 Pro with a dual selfie 44MP + 2MP sensors.

Our thoughts

OPPO Reno3 Pro comes out as the better camera phone at this price point compared to Samsung Galaxy Note10 Lite. The latter offers some better parts in terms of performance as well.
