Meet the Baseus GaN 65W Mini Fast Charger
Unlike traditional silicon power bricks, this travel charger is small yet powerful. It comes in super small design with a 90-degree foldable plug that can easily fit your bag and even your pocket.
|
It measures at just 75 x 36 x 32 mm |
How did they make that possible? Baseus used the new Gallium nitride tech that is physically smaller than current chargers as it doesn't require many components. Despite the small size, it can far higher voltages over time than silicon. It is more efficient and produces less heat as well.
It is smaller than some smartphone chargers
As a result, the Baseus GaN 65W Mini Fast Charger is quite capable for the size. It comes to a 3-port design with up to 65W super-fast charging support. You'll find two USB-C ports and 1 USB-A port.

Baseus also said that it supports most fast-charging protocols (universal compatibility). It comes with Qualcomm's Quick Charge 4.0 and 3.0 support, Samsung's AFC, Huawei SCP (5V), and USB PD 3.0 solution.

It is just this small |
The USB-C 1 port has up to 65W charging that you can use for your USB-C laptops like MacBooks, MateBooks, and more. The second USB-C port and USB-A port has up to 30W fast charging. You can charge it to charge your smartphones, tablets, speakers, and other gadgets.
There's a "Smart chip" that automatically detects your device, avoids abnormal screen response, flashing, and battery damage.
For safety, it comes with a BSP (Baseus-made) built-in chip to intelligently adjust the output voltage, current, and power when multiple devices are charged at the same time for higher conversion efficiency, lower temperature, and safer use.
It also has protection for over-voltage, over-current, over-power, electrostatic, short-circuit, and temperature.

Quick thoughts
|
65W on a tiny body is real! |
This is one of the most impressive chargers in the market right now. It is small, yet capable. In my experience, it can truly charge up to 3 devices like laptops, phones, and more at a time.
Will we recommend it? The answer is yes as it is as good as advertised and it is currently on sale for just PHP 1,990.
In comparison, Apple's single-port USB-C Power Adapter has an official SRP of PHP 3,890.
What do you guys think?
