Sony has just announced the new ZV-1 compact camera. Inside is the 1-inch 20MP stacked CMOS sensor with the BIONZ X processor and the 24-70 f/1.8-2.8 lens that was found in the older RX100 III, IV, and V(A). It comes with Sony's class-leading Real-time Eye AF and Real-time Tracking AF and with optical image stabilization.

On top of the camera are the multi-interface hot shoe mount along with the new onboard directional 3-capsule microphone that was designed to capture audio in front of the camera.

On the side is the fully-articulating 921,600-dot, 3-inch TFT Touch screen Display.

The camera is able to record 4K at 30fps and 1080p at up to 120fps. Sony claims that the included 960fps Super Slow Motion comes with high-quality autofocus.

The body measures 105.5 x 60 x 43.5 mm and weighs only 294 grams with the battery and the SD card inside.
