Redmi 9 with USB-C, Helio G80, and FHD+ display now official!

Xiaomi Global's website now lists the Redmi 9 with MediaTek Helio G80 SoC, quad-rear cameras, and 5,020mAh battery with 18W fast charging.

First spotted on Xiaomi's Spain website, the Redmi 9 is now listed at Mi Global website that reveals that the smartphone features a 6.53-inch FHD+ LCD display with Gorilla Glass 3 that attains 89.83 percent screen-to-body ratio.

Inside the device, the Redmi 9 is the MediaTek G80 chipset, 3GB/4GB RAM, 32GB/64GB storage with microSD card expansion of up to 512GB.

At the back of the device are the quad-rear cameras made up of a 13MP f/2.2 main camera, an 8MP f/2.2 118-degree ultra-wide camera, a 5MP f/2.4 macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. On top of the display is the notch with the 8MP f/2.0 front-facing camera.

Powering the device is the 5020mAh battery with 18W fast charging through USB Type-C.

There will be three colors: Black, Green, and Purple.
