Redmi 9 with Helio G80 launched in PH, starts at PHP 6,990!
Along with the POCO F2 Pro, Xiaomi today released the Redmi 9 to the Philippine market.
The device sports a 6.53-inch FHD+ LTPS display with TÜV Rheinland low blue light certification, Gorilla Glass 3 protection, and a notch for the 8MP selfie camera.
Inside, it is powered by the 2.0GHz 12nm MediaTek Helio G80 octa-core processor with Mali-G52 2EEMC2. Currently, Helio G80 is the fastest chip for the price that could run some heavy games with stable frame rates.
It is paired with up to 4GB RAM, up to 64GB storage, and a large 5,020mAh battery with USB-C 18W fast charging support. The in-box charger is just 10W, so you'll have to buy an 18W charger separately.
For cameras, it highlights a 13MP + 8MP + 5MP + 2MP quad-cameras.
