The freebies

vivo V80 Lite is now official in PH

The device comes in Pink, Green, and Black. According to the company, it offers military-grade drop resistance and IP68/69 dust and water protection. It measures 163.9 x 76.5 x 8.55 mm and weighs 224 grams.

The front of the phone carries a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution. The panel peaks at 2,000 nits and includes an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Under the hood, the phone runs on a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7300e processor with Mali-G610 graphics. It is available with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage.

The display

As its main highlight, the vivo V80 Lite features a whopping 10,000mAh capacity, making it the largest yet on a vivo smartphone.

According to the company, the battery uses vivo's 4th-generation silicon anode technology, which the company says is intended to provide long-lasting endurance without adding bulk.

Big battery and dual IP rating

Based on vivo's laboratory tests, the battery is designed to retain at least 80% of its health after 1,400 charge cycles, or roughly seven years of use.

The company also states that the battery operates reliably in temperatures ranging from -30 to 45 degrees Celsius, with a semi-solid electrolyte maintaining stable power in extreme heat. In vivo's 45-degree Celsius test, the phone lasted up to 45 hours of calls and 16 hours of navigation.

Additionally, it can be charged using a 44W USB-C Flash Charge adaptor.

For photography, the phone has a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor, along with a 32MP front camera for selfies.

Connectivity options include WiFi, 5G, Bluetooth 5.4, and dual SIM support. Satellite positioning is supported through GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, GALILEO, and QZSS. The phone also includes standard sensors.

The V80 Lite ships with Android 16 running OriginOS 6.
