Globe fully restores internet service

Originally scheduled to be finished in the next few days, Globe managed to fix the issue ahead of time.

In particular, Globe has fully fixed its internet services disrupted by a subsea cable segment between the Philippines and Singapore. Mobile and broadband users who experienced slow or intermittent connectivity should now see normal service.

Traffic across the affected route is back online after the cable landing station in the Philippines reactivated the system and stabilized fiber connections. Globe is working with international partners to pinpoint the exact fault.

The disruption earlier cut international bandwidth, causing slower speeds and lag when accessing overseas sites.

Globe thanked customers for their patience and continues to monitor network performance to ensure reliable connectivity.
