vivo S60t launched: Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip, 7,200mAh battery, and 50MP OIS camera

vivo has quietly added a third model to its S-series lineup, the vivo S60t, which has appeared on the company's Chinese website.

The phone is offered in Starry Sea, Early Summer Green, and Midsummer Night. It has a slim profile, measuring 157.52 x 74.33mm, with thickness ranging from 7.79mm to 7.92mm depending on the color. It weighs up to 207 grams.

Additionally, the phone carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.

The device carries a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2750 x 1260 pixels, 10-bit color depth, a P3 wide color gamut, and HDR support. The panel refreshes at up to 144Hz, and touch sampling reaches 300Hz in gaming mode. The screen-to-body ratio is 94.7%.

The display

Under the hood is the 2.8GHz 4nm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 mobile platform, paired with 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. A memory fusion feature adds up to 24GB of extended memory.

Powering the unit is the 7,200mAh battery supported by USB-C 90W wired fast charging, as well as reverse charging.

For cameras, it uses a 50MP primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) +  8MP ultra-wide + 50MP periscope telephoto camera, also with OIS. 

vivo says the primary and periscope cameras both support 4K video recording, and the phone offers up to 100x digital zoom. vivo also highlights 4K Live capabilities and gimbal-level stabilization. 

On the front, a 50MP camera with autofocus handles selfies.

Other features include an ultrasonic single-point fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, an X-axis linear motor, and an infrared remote. 

Connectivity options comprise WiFi 6 (2.4GHz/5GHz), 5G, 4G, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NFC, and dual SIM.

Finally, the handset runs OriginOS 7, which is based on Android 17.

It is currently available in China. It's unclear when vivo will release this to other markets at the moment.
