3D curved back designs

Build/Design - The 2 are equipped with 3D curved glasstic back covers in different colorways. v19 Neo highlights the more modern-looking camera hump design for me. The screen of the realme 6 is larger, but the v19 Neo has a smaller punch-hole and slimmer bezels.

Big displays

Display - The vivo v19 Neo has a 6.44-inch 2.5D curved Super AMOLED Ultra O Screen with FHD+ 2400 x 1080 resolution and 409 ppi pixel density.

The realme 6 has a 6.5-inch 3D curved LCD screen with 2400 x 1080 FHD+ resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, Gorilla Glass 3 protection, and 405 ppi pixel density.

realme 6 has the advantage here with a faster refresh rate for a smoother experience and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is also the most affordable with a 90Hz screen yet.

vivo v19 Neo's screen is no slouch either though with one of the smallest punch-hole cutouts and its a Super AMOLED screen as well.

It is a tie for me here.

Specs - For performance, vivo v19 Neo has a 2.0GHz 11nm Snapdragon 675 AIE octa-core processor, Adreno 612 GPU, 8GB LPDDR4X, 128GB UFS 2.1 expandable storage, and a 4,500mAh battery with 18W Dual-Engine Fast Charging technology. 

realme 6 has the 12nm 2.05GHz MediaTek Helio G90T octa-core processor, Mali-G76 3EEMC4 GPU, up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, 128GB UFS 2.1 expandable storage, and 4,300mAh battery with 30W Flash Charge. 

realme 6 has a better processor and GPU. Both have the same amount of RAM and storage as well. The vivo v19 has a bigger battery, but the realme 6 has the faster-charging technology.

Quad-cam!

Cameras - The realme 6 has a quad-camera setup with 64MP f/1.8 Samsung GW1 w/ EIS + 8MP f/2.3 119-degree ultra-wide-angle + 2MP f/2.4 macro + 2MP f/2.4 mono + LED flash. It also has a 16MP f/2.0 selfie sensor.

vivo v19 Neo has a quad-camera setup as well with a combo of 48MP f/1.8 w/ EIS + 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle + 2MP f/2.4 w/ 4cm macro + 2MP f/2.4 depth and LED flash . It also has a 32MP f/2.45 selfie camera.

Both devices have quad cameras at the back. However, realme has a 64MP main sensor compared to v19 Neo's 48MP sensor. Both devices feature the same variants of lenses. Both have EIS and an LED flash.

For selfies, vivo v19 has a bigger 32MP sensor.

Our thoughts

Based on specs, the realme 6 has a better overall package, thanks to its 90Hz screen, 64MP quad-cameras,  and faster CPU and GPU. Plus, it is more affordable.

vivo v19 Neo is no slouch as it has a bigger battery, 32MP selfie camera, In-Display fingerprint sensor, and a Super AMOLED screen.
