ASUS today confirmed that the upcoming ROG Phone 3 will be powered by the overclocked version of Snapdragon 865—the Snapdragon 865+.

Snapdragon 865+ SoC confirmed!

Based on the video, because of the SD865+ SoC, the ROG Phone 3 will be the "most powerful" gaming phone.

ASUS hasn't revealed details about the phone yet aside from the chipset and it will come with 5G connectivity.

According to reports, Snapdragon 865+ comes with a higher CPU clock frequency than SD865. It is said to feature one Kryo 585 Prime CPU with 3.09GHz clock speed, 3x Kryo 585 Gold CPU at 2.42GHz, and 4x Kryo 585 Silver CPU at 1.8GHz.

Earlier info from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology showed that the phone will highlight a 6,000mAh battery with a 30W charger. It is also heavy at 240 grams.

It is also expected to feature a 6.59-inch 144Hz screen, 16GB LPDDR5 RAM, 512GB UFS 3.0 storage, and a 64MP triple-cam.
