DxOMark score breakdown |
For months, the Huawei P40 Pro remained unbeatable with its chart-topping score of 128 until today. At Xiaomi's 10th year anniversary, the company announced the new Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra.
The new smartphone features a rear camera set-up of a 1/1.32-inch 48MP f/1.85 main camera with OIS, 1/20-inch 48MP f/4.1 periscope with 5x optical and 120x hybrid zoom, 20MP ultra-wide camera and a second 12MP telephoto with 2x optical zoom.
At the same time as the event, independent camera testing laboratory DxOMark has released its findings on the Mi 10 Ultra's cameras and gives it a score of 130.
DXOMark says that the Mi 10 Ultra's rear cameras "don't show any real weaknesses and delivers class-leading results in several categories especially in wide and zoom sections." The conclusion continues with "It is also a great tool for mobile videographers because of its excellent overall video quality with efficient stabilization at 4K and at 60fps."
If we look at the breakdown image, the Mi 10 Ultra scored 117 in zoom alone.
This effectively makes the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra the best performing smartphone camera according to DxOMark.
If DxOMark is to be believed, Xiaomi's new flagship phone is an easy recommendation for mobile content creators.
