This new security patch for the Mate 20 and 20 Pro comes with EMUI 10.1 version 10.1.0.298 with an update package size of 125MB. It fixes different levels of exploits nad issues within Huawei phones including 2 critical and 21 high levels of CVEs.

The update is currently rolling out in Romania. Huawei Central said that it will soon expand to more European countries.

Likely, the update will also reach most of its global users. To recall, the Mate 20 phones are the late 2018 flagship smartphone of the Chinese tech giant sporting the 7nm Kirin 980 AI chipset and the 40MP Leica quad-camera setup.
