A new contender, OPPO Reno4 arrives and priced in the Philippines!
On schedule, OPPO Philippines revealed the official local availability, price, and pre-order details for the Reno4—the company's newest mid-range contender.
The handset comes with a 3D curved glasstic back design using the "Reno Glow" design technique with matte fingerprint-resistant texture with subtle glitter to give the Galactic Blue colorway a vibrant and glossy look. It is also available in Space Black.
For the display, the handset uses a 6.43-inch Gorilla Glass protected AMOLED screen with FHD+ 2400 x 1080 resolution at 409 ppi, an In-Display fingerprint reader, TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light Certification, Netflix HD Streaming Certification, 800 nits peak brightness, 90.7 percent screen-to-body ratio, In-Display fingerprint reader, and a tiny pill-shaped punch-hole housing the 32MP + AI-enhanced Smart Sensor.
OPPO explained that the AI-enhanced Smart Sensor is for the selfie portrait mode and AI-features like Smart Air Control and Smart Spying Prevention. The selfie cam setup also comes with Ultra Night Selfie and Ultra Steady Front videos.
For specs, it sports an 8nm SD720 SoC, 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, 128GB UFS 2.1 storage, 4,000mAh battery, and USB-C 30W VOOC Flash Charge 4.0 with TÜV Rheinland-certified Safe Fast-Charge System.
At the back, the phone also goes with a 48MP quad-camera setup with Night Flare Portrait, Ultra Dark Mode, 108MP Ultra-clear Image, Ultra Steady Video 3.0 Back, Wide, Monochrome video, and 960fps Ultra slo-mo.
The handset also has a dual mic, Hi-Res Audio, Dolby Atmos, and Android 10.0 OS with the revamped ColorOS 7.2 skin.
