Smart Postpaid and Infinity subscribers can now access 5G services in select business districts

PLDT Enterprise and Smart Communications enabled all Smart Infinity and Smart Postpaid subscribers to enjoy 5G in business districts in Metro Manila.

The first commercial mobile enterprise 5G plans in the country

According to Smart, 5G technology is defined as the next generation of wireless connectivity. It is claimed to offer faster speed and more stable connections. With that in mind, Smart Postpaid and Smart Infinity subscribers can maximize the capability of their gadgets whether for productivity or entertainment. 

As an example, the company said that 5G allows users to download a 20-minute episode in just seconds. FVP & Head of PLDT Enterprise Core Business Solutions Jojo Gendrano emphasize its capability by saying,

With its revolutionary speed and ultra-low latency features, we believe 5G will really redefine the future of lifestyle and entertainment, as well as the way work and connect. We at PLDT Enterprise are glad to offer the first commercial mobile enterprise 5G plans in the country and this is all to provide an entirely new mobile experience for our valued subscribers.

Using their 5G-certified devices from the network, subscribers can experience the service in Makati Central Business District, Bonifacio Global City CBD, Araneta City, SM Megamall, and Mall of Asia Bay Area. The telco giant plants to include other areas like North Avenue in Quezon City, Taft Avenue in Manila, Ortigas CBD, and Clark Green City in Pampanga.

Also, they are going to release Smart 5G-certified handsets in collaboration with global device manufacturers. There will be an initial series of these devices from Huawei, Samsung, realme, and vivo.

PLDT Enterprise introduces new services: Smart GIGA Study, Smart Tracker, and Smart Queuing 

In order to help business owners, PLDT announced new services alongside its 5G launch. Smart GIGA Study, Smart Queuing Solution, Smart Tracker are claimed to empower businesses and subscribers to make their lives more convenient and productive.

Students and teachers will benefit the most with Smart GIGA Study as it can help them adjust to e-learning. Meanwhile, Smart Queuing Solution allows consumers to virtually line up at their chosen retail or utility store. As for Smart Tracker, it gives delivery recipients a locator link for more efficient monitoring.
