First off, Samsung unveiled the newest Galaxy Note 20 series. It comes in two sizes of 6.7-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED Infinity-O display for Note 20 and the massive 6.9-inch WQHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2.0 Infinity-O display with an Adaptive 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate of Note 20 Ultra.

The new offerings from the South Korean giant arrive in a triple camera setup. However, the Note 20 Ultra carries the better rear cameras. Both smartphones come with a 10MP front-facing camera on the punch hole, IP68 water, and rust resistance certification, an In-display Ultra-Sonic Fingerprint scanner, Stereo Speakers, Wireless Charging, Wireless PowerShare, Wireless Dex, and the S Pen.

The Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra will come in 5G and LTE versions.

Alongside the launch of the Note 20 series, Samsung announced the Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+. 

Both devices run Android 1 with Q OS and have a 120Hz refresh rate. They're also packed with a 3.09GHz Snapdragon 865+ octa-core processor and Adreno 650 GPU.

With the Folio keyboard case and the S-Pen, the Tab S7 series aims to be a versatile laptop replacement. It also has DeX Mode and quad speakers tuned by AKG and Dolby Atmos support.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 sports an 11-inch WQXGA LTPS screen with a 2560 x 1600 resolution. Inside, it has 6GB RAM, 128GB storage, and an 8,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy Tab S7+ has a 12.4-inch WQXGA+ Super AMOLED screen with a 2800 x 1752 resolution. It has 8GB RAM, 256GB storage, and a bigger 10,090mAh battery with 45W charging. It also has the same 13MP + 5MP ultra-wide dual rear cameras and an 8MP front-facing camera.

The Galaxy Tab S7 series has two colors in Mystic Bronze and Mystic Black with corresponding colors for the S-Pen. The local pricing is as follows:

At the said event, Samsung finally announced the arrival of its new bean-shaped TWS, the Galaxy Buds Live with Active Noise Cancellation.

It has an ergonomic, tip-less design that adjusts to the shape of the user's ear. As a result, they are comfortable enough to wear for a long time. 

These high-end TWS are equipped with a 12mm speaker and bass duct. It also comes with three microphones and a Voice Pickup Unit to ensure voice clarity when talking over the phone.

Galaxy Buds Live is also packed with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) for open type. It also sports an intuitive touch-based PUI (physical user interface)  for touch control. It has a Bixby voice wake-up that enables users to navigate music, open apps, and send messages hands-free and eyes-free. 

Samsung claims that the Buds Live can give 6 hours of playback time when fully charged with additional 15 hours from the charging case.

Samsung Galaxy Buds Live will be available for PHP 8,990 starting August 21, 2020, at authorized retailers and Samsung stores nationwide.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch3's body will feature either stainless steel or titanium whereas its strap is made from premium genuine leather. Samsung brings back the rotating bezel, which users can use to scroll through the menus and other parts of its UI. 

It features a full-color AMOLED display with an IP68 and MIL-STD-810G  protection that can endure water, dust, and minor bumps. 

It is equipped with a health monitor so its users can easily track their exercise, sleep, stress levels like the previous versions have. But, this one has a blood oxygen and fall detection feature. It automatically sends the user's location to four emergency contact persons. It also features heart rate and blood pressure monitors plus an EKG sensor for tracking heart activity. 

Galaxy Watch3 will be available in 41mm and 45mm Bluetooth variants and two colors of  Mystic Bronze and Mystic Black. It will be sold at the following price points:

Galaxy Watch3 Stainless Steel (41mm): PHP 18,990
Galaxy Watch3 Stainless Steel (45mm): PHP 20,990

The Galaxy Watch3 Titanium variant is going to be sold as an online exclusive model later this year and has no pricing yet. As for the stainless steel variants, they will be available on August 21, 2020.

Of course, how can we forget about the latest Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2?

The new foldable smartphone from the Korean giant is confirmed to arrive with super slimmer bezels with an edge-to-edge Infinity-O display utilizing the Ultra-Thin Glass. Upfront, it sports a 60Hz 6.2-inch Super AMOLED display at 816 x 2260 at 25:9 aspect ratio while inside is the 7.6-inch 120Hz Dynamic AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1768 x 2208 with an aspect ratio of 5:4.

Inside is a Snapdragon 865+ SoC, 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, 256GB of storage, and a 4,500mAh battery that charges through USB Type-C with 25W Adaptive fast charging.

At the back is a triple camera set-up of 12MP main, 12MP ultra-wide, and 12MP telephoto. The selfie camera on the Infinity-O displays of the inner and outer display are both made up of a 10MP shooter.

Did you know that this is the third foldable smartphone from the Korean giant after the original Fold in 2019 and the Z Flip earlier this year?

There is no word yet on Philippine availability and pricing. However, Samsung says that they will share more about the new foldable on September 1.

Furthermore, Samsung continues its partnership with Thom Browne with a special edition of the Z Fold2, Galaxy Watch3, Buds Live, and with accessories.

Lastly, Samsung surprised everyone with their latest offering: an Xbox Game Pass bundle with the latest Galaxy Note 20 series.

Samsung and Microsoft have teamed up to offer an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Bundle for the Galaxy Note 20. It includes PowerA’s MOGA XP5-X+ Bluetooth controller, as well as a clip to hold your phone in place. 

The wireless controller has a 3000mAh battery, which you can also use to charge your device. Users will also get three months of Game Pass Ultimate service, which usually costs USD 15/month.

The Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Bundle will be available on August 21.
