MSI announces Summit, Prestige, and Modern laptop series

MSI announced its new "Business & Productivity" laptops with the Summit, Prestige, and Modern series. A new logo for the company was also revealed as well.

MSI Summit series

The Summit Series is said to be designed to represent the peak of success in a career. It has a design language that leans on minimalism and modernism. The Summit E15 and E14 have 15.6-inch and 14-inch 4K UHD IPS touch screens respectively with 100 percent Adobe RGB color gamut. Both also feature the 11th Gen Intel Core i7 processor, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti Max-Q GPU with 4GB GDDR6 VRAM, up to 64GB (E15) DDR4 RAM/ up to 32GB (E14) LPDDR4X RAM, and NVMe M.2 SSDs.

The Summit B15 and B14 have 15.6-inch and 14-inch FHD IPS screen respectively. Both also feature the 11th Gen Intel Core i7 processor with Intel Iris X Graphics. The Summit B15 can have up to 64GB DDR4 memory while the B14 can have up to 32GB RAM. Both will be fitted with NVMe SSDs as well.

All Summit laptops will have a backlit keyboard, fingerprint reader, IR HD 720p webcam, Thunderbolt 4 ports, USB-A Gen 3.2 ports, microSD card reader, and a 3.5mm audio combo port for mic and headphones.

MSI Prestige series

MSI Prestige series in Carbon Gray and Rose Pink

The Prestige series has been updated with new stylish, contemporary colors in Urban Silver, Pure White, Carbon Gray, Rose Pink, Blue Stone, and Beige Mousse. 

The MSI Prestige 14 Evo is one of the first laptops to be certified on the Intel Evo platform. This means it offers smart features such as an instant wake, faster login, and faster WiFi connection. It also features a 14-inch low-power FHD IPS screen at 300 nits max brightness. Inside, it has the 11th Gen Intel Core i7 processor, Intel Iris X Graphics, 16GB LPDDR4X RAM, and NVMe M.2 SSD.

The MSI Prestige 15 and 14 have up to 15.6-inch and 14-inch 4K UHD IPS screen with 100 percent Adobe RGB color gamut. Inside, it has an 11th Gen Intel Core i7 processor and up to NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti Max-Q GPU. For RAM, the Prestige 15 gets up to 64GB of DDR4 3200MHz RAM while the Prestige 14 has up to 32GB LPDDR4X on-board RAM. Both will have NVMe M.2 SSDs.

All Prestige laptops will have a backlit keyboard, fingerprint reader, IR HD 720p webcam, Thunderbolt 4 ports, USB-A Gen 3.2 ports, microSD card reader, and a 3.5mm audio combo port for mic and headphones.

MSI Modern series

MSI Modern Series in Urban Silver and Blue Stone

The Modern 15 and 14 also get the same color update as the Prestige series. Respectively, the devices have a 15.6-inch FHD IPS screen and 14-inch FHD IPS screen. Inside, both feature the 11th Gen Intel Core i7 processor with a combo of NVIDIA GeForce MX450 and Intel Iris X Graphics, up to 32GB DDR4 3200MHz RAM, and NVMe M.2 SSDs.

Both also have a backlit keyboard, 720p webcam, Thunderbolt 4 port, USB-A 3.2 Gen2 ports, HDMI with 4K/60Hz support, and a 3.5mm combo audio jack.

The pricing and availability are yet to be revealed though. We will update you as soon as we get more info about the local pricing and when they become available.
