At the back, the Samsung Galaxy A42 5G features a strange gradient pattern as well as a square quad-camera hump with an LED flash underneath. In front, it uses a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED with an Infinity-U looking notch.

Samsung hasn't shared much info about the device yet. But based on its name, it should be more affordable than the Galaxy A51 5G. It doesn't have a visible fingerprint reader so we can assume that it is hidden under the display.

It is confirmed that the device will feature a 5,000mAh battery, 48MP + 8MP ultra-wide + 5MP macro + 5MP depth quad-cam, and a 20MP selfie cam with AF.

For the specs, leaks suggest that it will be powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 690 paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage.

Samsung Germany said that it is priced at EUR 369 or around PHP 21.2K out of straight conversion.

Samsung said that more info about the phone will be revealed "close to its launch" later in the year.

Stay tuned for more info.
