Build Quality/Design

Look how the back panel 'changes' when it's facing the light
|
vivo V20 SE's design is definitely striking, thanks to its mirror-like, glossy, polycarbonate frame. The back panel is made of glasstic material while the front panel is made of glass.
The SIM tray placed on the top of the handset has slots for two nanoSIM cards and a microSD card.
In front, vivo V20 SE features a 6.44-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a waterdrop notch as mentioned in the overview above with a 20:9 aspect ratio. At first look, vivo V20 SE's display is vibrant and bright with deep blacks as I expected it to be.

Binge-watch on vivo V20 SE |
The back panel is a fingerprint and hairline magnet, though. It's my pet peeve so if you don't want to wipe the back panel all over again, I suggest that you put on the provided clear case right away. The triple camera setup along with flash is also on the back with the vivo branding at the bottom left side.
On top you can find the triple slot tray and the first mic out of two. Meanwhile, at the bottom, are the three window grille speakers, secondary mic, and 3.5mm headphone slot.

Top and bottom |
vivo V20 SE's left side is empty while the right side has the volume rocker and power buttons.
Overall, vivo V20 SE is easy to hold and doesn't give me the uneasy feeling of 'the phone might slip out of my hands'.
