At the recently held contract signing at the Mireio, Raffles Hotel in Makati with Globe President and CEO Ernest Cu and Globe Chairman and Ayala Corporation Chairman Jaime Augusto Zobel de Ayala, Pacquiao offered to give his earnings to support relief efforts.
The twelve-time, eight-division champion and the senator said that his decision to be Globe's newest brand ambassador came to be because he believed in the company and its services. He also believes that this is a great opportunity to help his "kababayans" that are in need of assistance after the effects of Typhoon Rolly and Ulysses.
This partnership also paves the way for Filipinos worldwide to see Pacquiao fights via UPSTREAM, Globe's newest transactional video-on-demand platform, and on GMovies.
