To recap, for the first time, Apple used a self-made chip to power its PCs instead of using Intel devices. Apple M1 is an ARM-based 5nm 8-core processor boasting 4x high-performance cores, 4x efficiency cores, and 16 billion transistors in total.

This is a powerful chip with a CPU that is up to 3.6x faster, 8-core GPU that is up to 5x faster, Machine Learning that is up to 9x faster, and SSD performance that is up to 2x faster than previous Intel-based Macs.

In our first impressions, the Mac mini with Apple M1 chip impressed us with its speed and overall performance. We considered it as a bang-for-the-buck work-from-home device due to its reliability.
