A brand character ready for breakthroughs

REALMEOW is tagged as the Chief Trending Officer and meant to pioneer in technological trends, visuals, and geek pop culture. It aims to personify cutting-edge designs and the innovative attitude of the Gen Z population.

The flashy and street-style appeal of REALMEOW is based on the brand's 'Dare to Leap' mantra. It was also inspired by cats since in general, they are independent, fearless, quick, and ready for innovations. It also symbolizes a trendsetter and mysterious creature from another planet. 

With the cat's yellow body, the team decided to include a pair of black laser glasses to have that contrast in colors. This accessory can shift to any object in just a snap to give off the sharp attitude of the character.

REALMEOW, as a perpetually 18-year-old extraterrestrial, is at the prime of its youth. It is full of vigor, passion, and life. Just like many of its fellow Gen Zs, REALMEOW likes fried chicken and pizza. For hobbies, this cute alien character also loves jamming and dancing to rap songs and is good at skating and hip-hop dance.

The said brand character of realme is co-designed by the well-known animator Mark Walsh. Walsh is the directing animator of Pixar's Monsters, Inc. He's the one behind the animation of Finding Nemo and also thinks that creating characters must have passion. The passion will enable the character to overcome the challenges and that will result in a great personality.

Mark Walsh joined the realme Design Studio as a creative consultant to design the trendsetting REALMEOW. The character's core is independence and courage. In the process of designing the brand character, both REALMEOW knows that it should portrait the young generation's culture. This is the reason behind the team's goal to create the street-culture vibe through some painting and sculpture.

realme Global released a limited REALMEOW gift package to celebrate the new year with the youth worldwide. This merchandise is going to be available in the Philippines in the near future. Soon, realme will introduce a customized smartphone and AIoT products based on REALMEOW.
