Sony launches new FE 35mm f/1.4 GM G Master full-frame lens

Sony just announced the newest addition to its G Master Full-Frame Lens series. It is the FE 35mm f/1.4 GM that has a compact design.

Perfect for Sony E-mount users

Geared as an all-rounder full-frame lens, the Sony FE 35mm F/1.4 GM is a must-have for Sony E-mount users. It provides sharp image quality with beautiful bokeh that is great for shooting landscapes, portraits, and street photography. It is perfect for both video and photos.

The FE 35mm f/1.4 GM is compact and light with dimensions of 76mm in diameter x 96 mm and a weight of 524 g. It features Sony's advanced optical technology that can deliver professional levels of contrast, resolution, and bokeh.

It also features an almost circular aperture thanks to the 11-blade construction it has. The combination of F1.4 maximum aperture and the flexibility to choose the shooting distance allowing for control in both stills and videos.

Sony's XD Linear Motors provide high thrust efficiency that is needed for precise AF and tracking. This also improves control response and precision while minimizing vibration and noise for fast, smooth, and silent AF performance.

Lastly, it has professional control features such as a focus hold button, a focus mode switch, and an aperture ring with switchable click stops.

The Sony FE f/1.4 GM will be available in the Philippines starting February 2021. No information about the price yet though but we will update you as soon as we get more information.
