To recap, Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro phones were originally priced at PHP 34,990 and PHP 50,990, respectively. When Mate 30 Pro 5G went official, the company dropped their SRPs to PHP 46,990 and PHP 30,990. During the last 12.12 sale, the company even dropped their prices further at PHP 34,999 and PHP 24,799.

Now, Huawei's official online store in the country suggests that the PHP 24,799 starting price is now permanent.

For its new price tags, more than a year since its local launch, the Mate 30 series remains to be some of the most capable phones for the price despite not having 5G.

To recap, the Huawei Mate 30 is boasting a large 6.62-inch FHD+ Rigid OLED 19:5:9 panel with an In-Display fingerprint reader paired with the 7nm HiSilicon Kirin 990 octa-core processor with Mali-G76 MP16 GPU, 8GB RAM, 128GB expandable storage via NM card, and 4,500mAh battery with 40W SuperCharge, 27W wireless charging, and 3rd generation reverse wireless charging.

For cameras, this comes with a triple Leica camera setup with a 40MP f/1.8 SuperSensing main camera + 16MP f/2.2 ultra-wide camera + 8MP f/2.4 telephoto camera. For selfies, there's a 24MP f/2.0 snapper.

Meanwhile, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro has a nicer-looking 6.53-inch display 88-degree waterfall-like curve "Horizon Display" with 2400 x 1176 resolution, a notch, and an In-Display fingerprint reader, the same Kirin 990 chip, 8GB RAM, and 40W battery. But, it has a bigger 256GB expandable storage and a better 40MP f/1.8 RGGB CFA Cine Camera with a 1/1.54-inch sensor, and a 3:2 aspect ratio, 40MP f/1.6 RYYB CFA SuperSensing Camera with OIS, 8MP f/2.4 telephoto, and a 3D Depth Sensing camera.
