GizmoChina reports that German Blog Winfuture.de found the press release for the unannounced Qualcomm Snapdragon 780G 5G on Qualcomm's website which has now been taken down

Like the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888, the new 780G 5G is a 6nm octa-core processor with two Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.4GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 1.8GHz. Included is the Adreno 642 GPU which supports true 10-bit HDR gaming, ultra-smooth gaming, and updateable GPU drivers.

It also included the new triple ISP called Spectra 570 that allows the SoC to capture from the main camera, ultra-wide and zoom cameras at the same time. The new ISP also supports 4K HDR and HDR10+ video recording.

The new 5nm chip also comes with the Hexagon 770 6th generation AI engine which offers double the performance of its predecessor or up to 12 TOPs AI performance. For its modem, it has the Snapdragon X53 5G modem with an RF system that can reach speeds of up to 3.3Gbps on sub-6GHz frequencies. It also supports FastConnect 6900, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, and Snapdragon Sound.

The report claims that Qualcomm said that the first devices with the new chipset are expected to arrive in the second quarter of 2021 and WinFuture claims that the chipset may debut on the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G.
