realme 8 with Helio G95, AMOLED screen, 64MP main camera announced!

Along with the Pro version, the realme 8 was also announced in India. It is the successor to the realme 7 with an AMOLED screen, Helio G95. and more.

The new design is beautiful

The realme 8 features an updated design with a matte-looking back with a strip of glossy, CD-like material bearing the "Dare to Leap" tagline. It has a square rear camera bump housing for sensors.

Upfront, it has a 6.5-inch AMOLED screen with 2400 x 1080 FHD+ resolution, 1000 nits peak brightness, and 405 ppi pixel density. It has a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera and slim bezels all around. It also has an In-Display Fingerprint sensor.

Inside, it features the 12nm MediaTek Helio G95 octa-core processor, 900MHz Mali-G76 3EEMC4 GPU, up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, 128 UFS 2.1 expandable storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 30W Dart Charge fast charging. It also has dual-band WiFi, dual 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, GLONASS, 3.5mm headphone jack, and USB-C.

For the cameras, it has a quad-camera system with a 64MP f/1.79 main sensor with UIS/UIS Max + 8MP f/2.3 119-degree ultra-wide-angle lens + 2MP monochrome sensor + 2MP 4cm macro sensor with LED flash. For selfies, it has a 16MP f/2.4 Sony IMX471 sensor.

India price with direct to PHP conversion (no taxes and duties yet):

realme 8  6GB/128GB - INR 15,999 (around PHP 10.7K)

realme 8  8GB/128GB - INR 16,999 (around PHP 11.3K)

The phones will be available on March 25.

There's no info about the global release of the phones yet.
