Motorola 4K Android TV Stick unveiled!

Motorola announced the launch of its 4K Android TV stick in India. It is available via Flipkart where Motorola has been licensing its brand.

The Motorola 4K Android TV stick has a square design which is different from the TV sticks that we are used to such as the Mi TV stick. It supports HDR, which allows the playback of content with HDR10 and HLG video formats. It also supports 4K video playback and can go down to 720p60 for streaming.

Inside, it has a 2GHz Cortex A53 quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, and 16GB built-in storage. Since the Motorola 4K Android TV stick runs Android 9.0 Pie out of the box it has built-in support for Google Chromecast and Google Assistant.

The presence of Google Assistant opens the ability for voice commands via a built-in microphone in the remote. It supports most streaming services such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Zee5, YouTube, and more.

The remote also has a dedicated mute switch, Google Assistant button, Netflix, Zee5, YouTube, and Amazon Prime Video shortcut buttons.

India price with direct to PHP conversion (no taxes and duties yet):

As of now, the Motorola 4K Android TV is exclusively available on Flipkart in India. It is going on sale starting March 15.

Local availability is yet to be confirmed though.
