When power meets speed?

Is this the new lion mascot?

Thru its social media pages, POCO announced its upcoming online launch event this March 22, 2021, at 10PM GMT+8 thru Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube.

On the company's official Twitter account POCO's Tweet said that this will be the biggest launch of the company for 2021. On the image attached is the tagline "When Power Meets Speed".

GizmoChina expects that POCO may announce the POCO X3 Pro, POCO F3, or POCO F3 Pro. Leaks claim that the POCO F3 or POCO F3 Pro could be the global version of the recently launched Redmi K40 from China.

On the other hand, the alleged POCO X3 Pro is rumored to have a 120Hz AMOLED with FHD+ resolution, yet to be announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 and 5200mAh battery.

Aside from the smartphones, POCO may also announce a new mascot like when realme announced REALMEOW.

In a recent post on Facebook, an image with the captions "King POCO is on the way" and "Make sure to check out our launch on March 22, 2021". Beside the caption is what seems to be a chibi cartoon character with a long bright tail, paws, and a yellow mane. On the first image is a set of claws that slashes thru a surface. Could all these lead to the theme of a lion?

Stay tuned for our coverage on March 22, 2021. Take this information with a grain of salt until POCO makes an official announcement.
