On the company's official YouTube Channel, realme recently published a 2-minute video of realme India CEO Madhav Sheth drive a realme branded yellow Lamborghini and then compete with a professional race driver on a race track. The word 'infinity and the symbol of infinity was mentioned and depicted several times in the video. GizmoChina speculates that because the infinity symbol is an "8" on its side then it may be safe to say that the realme 8 will be announced on the date mentioned by Madhav at the end of the video.

The realme 8 series is expected to come in either the vanilla realme 8 and the realme 8 Pro. The company has previously confirmed that the realme 8 Pro will have a 108MP rear camera, 4500mAh battery with 65W fast wired charging. A few days ago, the CEO also showed that one of the models has an AMOLED display with an in-display fingerprint scanner. 

While the standard realme 8 is expected to have a large 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display, MediaTek Helio G95, 5,000mAh battery with 30W Dart Charging, and 64MP Quad AI cameras.

After the announcement in India, the realme 8 series should arrive in Europe and the rest of Asia soon after.
