May launch globally soon?

The Xiaomi Mi 10S recently arrived in China last March 10, 2021. Five days later, GizmoChina reports that Twitter user '@stufflistings' spotted the Xiaomi Mi 10S on the Google Play Console. The listing has since disappeared but a screenshot was saved.

The screenshot saved reveals that the global version of the Mi 10S could have an FHD+ resolution display, 8GB RAM, Android 11 OS, Qualcomm Snapdragon SMB8350 or Snapdragon 888. This is different from the China version that is rocking a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset.

To recap, the China version features a large 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, Gorilla Glass 5 protection, HDR10+ certification and an in-display fingerprint scanner. On the top and bottom sides of the phone are the Harman Kardon tuned dual speakers.

Inside the Mi 10S China variant is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870, Adreno 650 GPU, 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.0 and a 4780mAh battery with 33W wired charging, 30W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging. At the back of the phone is a 108MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide camera, 2MP macro and 2MP depth sensor while in front is a 20MP selfie camera.

China-exclusive versions do not have Google services installed and when a smartphone is listed on the Google Play Console, it is expected that the smartphone is for global release and will be equipped with Google services.

Take this information with a grain of salt as until Xiaomi makes an official announcement, this information is still unconfirmed.

What do you guys think?
