Lenovo today officially shared details about the upgrade of the Legion Phone Duel last year and this device has a beastly mobile gaming-focused configuration.

Two fans, two batteries, two USB-C ports, monster specs!

Dubbed as the Legion Phone Duel 2, the device has a unique back design with two square designs and a glass island for the cameras, cooling fans, and a customizable RGB Legion logo. It has two colorways: Titanium White and Ultimate Black.

It also has four shoulder buttons via haptic feedback and ultrasonic sensors on the side of the phone and two capacitive touchpoints on the back for better gaming controls as well.

In front, it uses a larger 6.92-inch AMOLED screen with 144Hz refresh rate, 720Hz touch sampling rate, 8-bit HDR, HDR10+, FHD+ 2460 x 1080 resolution, 20:5:9 aspect ratio, TÜV Low Blue Light certification, DC dimming, Pixelworks i6 AI tunning, 111.1 percent DCI-P3 color gamut coverage, In-Display fingerprint scanner, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

Inside, it uses Qualcomm's flagship-grade 5nm 2.84GHz Snapdragon 888 octa-core processor with Adreno 660 GPU and a built-in 5G modem. It is paired with 12GB/16GB/18GB LPDDR5 RAM, 256GB/512GB UFS 3.1 storage, and 2x 2,750mAh (5,500mAh) battery with USB-C 65W Fast Charging and an option for up to 90W Turbo Charging using its two USB-C ports.

To keep its performance cool for long hours of mobile gaming sessions, Lenovo equipped this handset with an integrated Twin Turbo-Fan Cooling System, Passive cooling components, and Vapor Chamber liquid cooling. The top intake hot air and passes it through the copper heat sink while the top fan serves as an exhaust. Lenovo claimed that it has a 30 percent improvement in thermal efficiency versus the first Legion Phone.

For the back cameras, it uses a 64MP f/1.9 OV64A sensor + 16MP f/2.2 123-degree ultra-wide-angle mode. It has up to 10x zoom, Night mode, and up to 8K video recording.

On the side, it has a streamer-ready selfie camera using Samsung's 44MP f/2.0 GH1 camera with AF.

It also has a 7-magnet stereo speaker with dual Smart PA in front, 48kHz/16-bit HiFi audio via USB-C, Dolby Atmos artificial 3D audio effect, and 4x microphones with noise reduction technology.

It runs with Android 11 OS with Lenovo's ZUI 12.5 skin on top.

The company hasn't shared the price tag of its 18GB version yet.

Lenovo said that the phone will be available in China this month and Europe in May.

There's no info on when will the company release it for the Philippine market.
