Sennheiser Philippines today announced that it is cutting the price of its first MOMENTUM True Wireless earphones.

First announced in 2018 with a whopping price tag of PHP 19,990, limited stocks of the wireless earphones on its webshop will be priced at just PHP 7,999. That's almost a PHP 12K discount.

To recap, the Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless is the company's Bluetooth-enabled earphones that promise to bring the audio performance and design of its MOMENTUM headphone lineup to a truly wireless form factor.

It has an IPX4 water splash-resistant body, "audiophile-grade" drivers, and Bluetooth 5.0 with A2DP, A2DP, AVRCP, HSP, and HFP profiles as well as support for SBC, aptX, aptX Low Latency, and AAC codecs. It also has a MEMS microphone (2-mic noise cancellation beamforming technology) with a sensitivity of 94 dB SPL at 1 kHz.

Via A2DP, each bud has up to 4 hours battery life with up to 12 hours using the rechargeable carrying case with USB-C charging port.

Sennheiser also highlights that the earbuds have access to voice assistants like Siri and Google Assistant with one tap.

The earbuds come with access to a Sennheiser Smart Control app that lets iOS and Android device users ability to control, personalize, update, and configure the MOMENTUM True Wireless.

Meanwhile, the Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless 2 with ANC is also on sale at the moment. From PHP 19,990, it is down to PHP 17,390.
