OnePlus TV 40Y1 now official features Android 9.0 and Dolby Audio

OnePlus launched its 6th model for its Smart TV lineup. It is called the OnePlus TV 40Y1 with FHD resolution, Android TV 9.0, and Dolby Audio.

The features

The OnePlus TV 40Y1 is a budget-friendly smart TV aimed at first-time buyers. It has a 40-inch LED-backlit LCD panel with 1920 x 1080 resolution, 93 percent DCI-P3 color gamut, and a 93 percent screen-to-body ratio. It has a plastic body with feet out of the box with an optional wall mount mechanism sold separately.

It runs Android TV 9.0 Pie with OxygenPlay on top. It also has a 64-bit processor, 1GB RAM, and 8GB of storage. It has support for popular apps such as Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video as well as Google Chromecast, Google Assistant, and Amazon Alexa.

In terms of I/O ports, it comes with single-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, 2 x HDMI, 2 x USB ports, RF, optical digital audio, 3-in-1 AV composite, and Ethernet. It also has 2 x 10W speakers with Dolby Atmos support. It can also be used in conjunction with the OnePlus Connect app.

It is now available in India. It is also set to be available in the OnePlus online store. Local pricing and availability are yet to be confirmed but we will update you as soon as we get more information.
