ASUS devices are set to receive Windows 11 update

ASUS has partnered up with Microsoft to enable hundreds of compatible ASUS models, including the latest Zenbooks, to receive a FREE upgrade to Windows 11.
ASUS devices that run Windows 10 are eligible for a free Windows 11 upgrade.

Select ASUS PC models are set to get the Windows 11 update when it rolls out

New and existing ASUS PC laptops running Windows 10 can expect to get the newest Windows operating system free of charge once it is available.

Among the many models set to get this upgrade include the recently launched Zenbook Pro Duo 15 OLED (UX582), Zenbook Duo 14 (UX482), Zenbook Flip 13 OLED (UX363), and Zenbook 13 OLED (UX325).
ASUS devices to get Windows 11

Existing users of the following gaming and business-oriented ASUS laptops and desktops are also eligible to get this update:

  • ProArt StudioBook
  • ZenBook and VivoBook
  • ROG Strix
  • ROG Zephyrus
  • ROG Flow
  • TUF Gaming laptops and desktops
  • ExpertBook laptops
  • ExpertCenter desktops
  • Zen AiO
  • Vivo AiO
  • ASUS Mini PCs

With the new operating system ready to make its way to users later this year, what do you need to prepare?

Here are a few tips from ASUS:

  1. Find out if your PC meets the requirements to run Windows 11. To do so, you can use the PC Health Check app.
  2. Don’t lose your files! Create a backup of your media content and other files to OneDrive.
  3. Why not shop for a new Windows 10 ASUS PC? While waiting for the new Windows 11, make a device upgrade now.

The Windows 11 update is set to begin in late 2021 and will carry over in early 2022. Check the full list of update-compatible ASUS devices here.
