More Globe subscribers enjoy improved services

The telco said at least 644,108 Globe Prepaid, TM and Globe Postpaid customers residing in different provinces now enjoy better mobile connectivity after it installed 104 new sites and upgraded 982 sites in March of this year.

More than meeting our expansion targets this year, we want to give our customers a better and far-reaching network that will improve their lives amid the various challenges of the pandemic. Better connectivity, reliable, and accessible internet are the services that we are giving our customers, said Ernest Cu, Globe president and chief executive officer.

Globe said it recorded the most customers with improved mobile experiences in Batangas, Pampanga, and Laguna.

Metro Manila, Misamis Oriental, Cebu, Davao Del Sur, Cavite, Rizal, and Maguindanao comprised the top 10 provinces where customers experience the benefits and advantages of Globe network builds and expansion.

Globe urged its subscribers anew to embrace 4G LTE-ready SIMs to maximize the network's performance.

The company said subscribers may check if they are still using 2G and 3G SIMs by texting SIM CHECK to 8080. If they want to upgrade to 4G LTE SIMs, Globe said they may set an online appointment or through the GlobeOne App before proceeding to the Globe Store for SIM replacement.
